A Grand Finale to our 2nd Concert Season!

Thank you all for coming to listen to our orchestra - 100 people in the audience, what a grand ending!

Finale of Robert Schumann's Piano Concerto. Soloist Julian Jacobson, Conductor Tommaso Nista, Romantic Revival Orchestra

Our second-ever concert season finished off with a bang! Many thanks to Julian, Andrey and Bianca for being our three fantastic soloists, and to Tommaso for conducting such a fabulous performance. And of course, thank you to all the players involved in this concert, and those who stuck around for the entire season.

None of this would happen, or even matter, without our lovely audience. So many people came to so many of our concerts, it's great to see familiar faces coming so often!

3 Orchestral concerts, 7 Chamber concerts, and so much planned for next season...

Over the summer, we will finally release all our videos from this season, as well as last season's finale (Dvorak's 6th Symphony). We will prioritise Lyell's Schiehallion to be released first, as the recording for this is in very high demand!

For next season, we want to expand further in a couple of aspects:

  • Regular Sunday-afternoon chamber concerts at the Polish Millennium House

  • Regular chamber concerts at Drapers' Hall in Coventry

  • Community outreach (teaching, volunteering, workshops)

  • And of course, more orchestral concerts.

For our orchestral season, we will host 4 concerts in Birmingham, as well as one in Coventry and hopefully one in Leamington Spa. Can't wait to announce what we have planned!

Finally, our collaboration with Vivid Green Caterpillars is going well! Many of you were really intrigued at the resin busts we had on display at our Box Office. If you wish to purchase one, please go to our store, or click below:

Thank you all so much for reading our blog!
